James Lavelle brings the sound of the legendary UNKLE to Prague

James Lavelle, a true pioneer of electronic music and global club culture, has been shaping the world underground scene for more than three decades. As founder of the cult label Mo’ Wax and the creative force behind UNKLE, he has worked with artists such as Thom Yorke, Massive Attack, Brian Eno, Josh Homme, Michael Kiwanuka and Mark Lanegan.

Lavelle is renowned for his cinematically built DJ sets that cross genre boundaries. He has played the most legendary clubs and festivals around the world, including Fabric, Womb, Watergate, Zouk and many more. Look forward to a gripping journey through electronic music, trip-hop, breakbeat, house and techno from one of the most respected DJs of his generation.

Skalpel, the acclaimed duo from Wrocław, Poland — Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudło — became famous for their original fusion of rare Polish jazz samples with contemporary electronic music. Since their breakthrough debut on the legendary Ninja Tune label they have ranked among the most distinctive names of the world nu-jazz and downtempo scene. Their cinematic sound blends jazz, broken beat, downtempo and electronics, making every performance a unique musical experience. Look forward to a sophisticated and gripping DJ set from one of the most influential Polish electronic projects.

Omnion is the solo project of Czech composer and multi-instrumentalist Tomáš Reindl, whose signature style OmniBeat combines live instruments, live looping and interactive electronics. Inspired by ancient musical traditions as well as the contemporary electronic scene, he creates hypnotic live performances in which world music, downtempo and organic grooves blend naturally with modern electronics.
