girli (UK) + Vanés + Dirtf Flirt

With her mix of electro-pop and punk, girli gives femininity a new face — bold, angry and unrestrained. With her new album it’s just my opinion she returns to Prague on 16 October 2026 at Distrikt.

The artist, real name Milly Toomey, grabbed attention with her cheeky 2015 debut single “So You Think You Can Fuck With Me Do Ya?”. Over time she built an image that is as tough as the word “girl” might sound soft: “When I started GIRLI, I told myself I didn’t give a shit what anyone thought. But actually I did care back then. It was a big thing for me to figure that out and realise it’s okay to be vulnerable.”

Her upcoming third album it’s just my opinion is out on 8 May, and you can look forward to classic alt-pop spiced with the atmosphere of a sweaty club. One of the singles is “Slap on the Wrist”, which the artist herself calls a battle cry “for every woman who has ever walked home with her keys clenched in her fist because she knows the world won’t protect her”. It is exactly these themes, rarely given attention in music today, that resonate throughout her work
