Marko Hietala (FIN)

MARKO HIETALA has been a byword for musical quality for more than four decades. MARKO not only shaped but defined the sound of harder rock — as a founding member of the heavy metal band TAROT, as an essential member of the supergroup SINERGY (alongside extreme talents such as Alexi Laiho), and as one of the key figures of the world’s biggest symphonic metal band, NIGHTWISH.

MARKO is an endlessly talented, likeable guy with a pure rock heart, and his solo career is increasingly seen and heard on the world rock and metal scene. His music and songwriting never stop, and last year’s album “Roses from the Deep” is a fantastically adventurous journey without a single stumble. MARKO HIETALA brings not only this uplifting, timeless rock album to Prague’s Distrikt on 20 October 2026!

The record “Roses From The Deep” is absolutely amazing, and MARKO is a truly great musician, entertainer and a very charismatic personality whose stage presence is completely natural and yet truly radiant.
